Opportunities and Work Prospects

  • Post-Study Work Visa (PSWV): Graduates are eligible for a work visa for 1-3 years, depending on the level and duration of their study. This visa is a pathway to gain valuable international work experience and possibly permanent residency.
  • Part-Time Work Options: International students can work part-time (up to 20 hours a week) in New Zealand during study, with opportunities in various sectors. As well as up to 40 hours during the holiday season.You are paid on ‘hours’ and have a minimum wage of between $18.16 to $20.70 based on your age.

Admission Criteria

  • International students: They must provide evidence of English language proficiency through standardised tests such as PTE or IELTS.

Undergraduate Admission:

  2. Program-Specific Requirements: Minimum academic scores, English language proficiency, and other prerequisites.
  3. Application Submission: Completed application form with academic transcripts and other supporting documents.

  • Food: Weekly supermarket shopping is around NZD 70-100; eating out costs NZD 10–25 per meal.

  • Transportation: Bus fare is NZD 3–5 per ride; a monthly bus pass is NZD 100-150.

  • Personal Expenses: Textbooks and course materials cost around NZD 500–1000 per year; entertainment and recreation expenses are about NZD 50–100 per week​​.
